Frequently Asked Questions
V2Ray is an open-source network platform that provides the tools and infrastructure for building secure and private network proxy services. It is often used to enhance online privacy and improve access to digital content in challenging network environments.
A V2Ray server is the remote host that runs the V2Ray core software, acting as the secure, encrypted proxy gateway for the V2Ray client on your local device. Its primary function is to receive encrypted traffic from your device, decrypt it, and then forward it to the intended website or service on the open internet, effectively masking your real IP address and circumventing firewalls.
The primary distinction between V2Ray and more conventional VPNs (such as those utilizing OpenVPN or WireGuard) lies in their core design flexibility and their approach to maintaining performance under diverse network conditions. Both technologies are designed to establish a secure and private internet connection. However, V2Ray is specifically engineered with protocol agility to ensure reliable and consistent access even in environments with complex or restrictive traffic protocols.
V2Ray is highly versatile, and its core engine is designed to run on almost any modern operating system. While the core software provides the essential protocols and tunneling, you will use a separate client application with a Graphical User Interface (GUI) tailored for your specific operating system to manage the connection easily.
Here is a breakdown of the major platforms and popular client applications:
Windows
macOS
Linux
Android
iOS
Custom router firmware like OpenWrt
Devices like Raspberry Pi
Using a V2Ray server on your device requires installing a compatible V2Ray client application and importing the server’s configuration details. The process is generally similar across operating systems, but the specific client app and interface will differ. The V2Ray client acts as the local side of the secure tunnel, encrypting your traffic and sending it to your remote V2Ray server.
No, you cannot renew a plan directly. When your data runs out or the plan expires, you simply need to buy a new plan.
Note: Your new plan will come with a new UUID code.
You must enter this new code into Heisenguard V2ray Generator page and generate your configuration.
Then, copy and paste this configuration into your V2Ray app.
You can order as many plans as you need. There is no limit.
- Shared Access plans are created right away when users order. Details of them are given to the users instantly. The Clients who own these plans share the server (VPS) with other Clients.
- Exclusive Access plans are made by our team based on users’ needs. Details of them are sent to the users by email and support ticket. The Clients who own these plans get the entire server (VPS) just for themselves.
